Kiwanis Administration held 16 inter-club meetings One member was dropped for non-attendance, and another active member became a privileged member There were no additions during the year

Boys and Girls Work committee assisted in fund raising for the Boy Scouts Sponsored a junior Baseball team Hired a bus and took 18 members of the Boy Scout troop to a camporee We presented a good citizenship medal to the outstanding pupils in high school National Kids Day was celebrated with 300 children present A Christmas party was held with 515 in attendance Gifts were presented to all present.

Underprivileged Child distributed food and clothing to those who needed it A check for $7000 was presented to the sick and needy families Some of the other activities were as follows: Christmas baskets were distributed, a bicycle was rebuilt for an underprivileged child and $10000 was contributed to the newly formed Ambulance rescue squad We also assisted in the March of Dimes campaign.

Public and Business Affairs furnished 6 days labor each on the Community Center Held the annual community carnival $4,000 was made for the Community Center, part of which was used to purchase 150 chairs at a cost of $800 Held dedicatory services for the community center with President Claude Hellmann and Governor Theodore McKeldin as speakers.

Support of Churches in Their Spiritual Aims committee published listings of the time of services of all the churches in their community Club members installed a Bulletin board in the Primary Department in one of the local churches Our club members also attended a Methodist church on Easter Sunday morning.
