James Wood Middle School Builders Club Jazz Nite a Success

The Third Jazz Nite once again met all expectations with good food, a silent auction and a great Jazz concert. With the help of local restaurant Donato's where the food is prepared by members of the Winchester Kiwanis Club and then transported to the school for serving. Food is served by club members in the school cafeteria Over the past month Builders had collected numerous items for a silent auction which was held in the school library. The highlight of the evening is the Jazz concert with the opening featuring the James Wood Jazz Band followed by the Shenandoah University Jazz Band. All proceeds from this event went to the Hurst House at Winchester Medical Center and the Lord Fairfax Food Bank. Part of the admission was a can of food.
