Dr. George W. Bogikes, DDS, FACD

Sadly I must report that Dr. GEORGE as he was known to many of his friends passed away on July 27, 2009 at 99 years of age.

George was a Past Lt. Governor of Div. 10 (now Div. 20) from the Alexandria, VA Club. After retiring to the Eastern Shore he also belonged to the Greater Ocean Pines - Ocean City Kiwanis Club.

George was also a Life Member of Kiwanis International. He was a Past Distinguished Governor of Capital District in 1971-72. George also was the "founding father" of our Capital District Kiwanis Foundation.
